ITRI, Inc.
The International Technology Research Institute, Inc. (dba ITRI, Inc. or ITRI2) is a small business S-corporation chartered in Delaware. It is a spin-off of Loyola University Maryland chartered to provide research services to the Federal Government and other research organizations. It originated in 1989 as a unit of Loyola with about $500,000 per year of grants and contracts. In 2001 it was spun off as a non-profit, and in 2008 it was reorganized as a profit-seeking small business to qualify for Small Business Administration (SBA) programs. Several agencies have sponsored ITRI studies.
